There has always been a stigma to marijuana use.

The good thing about it, however, is that continued studies are being conducted so hopefully someday, we will know more about the pros and cons of medical cannabis.
It is a fact that current studies have moderate evidence on benefits or dangers. There is so much involved in conducting these studies and marijuana being a schedule 1 substance, regulatory restrictions are impediments to research advancement.
