Hydracoco Coconut Water, SPORT, is this company’s version of coconut water with added Vitamins. Curious, I just had to give it a try. It boasts of added vitamins including Vitamin D, calcium, Iron, Vitamin C, Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, phosphorous and magnesium.
With coconut water, I like the benefit of potassium, mainly, as inherent from the coconut water itself. When you add Vitamin B12 to that, plus the other vitamins and nutrients, now that’s some awesome refreshing energy drink for sure! I hate opening bottle or jar where I have to risk breaking a nail trying to pull and tear that stiff, silver foil covering off.
Personally, the size and shape of this bottle is just perfect for the shape of the hand. Not too big, not too narrow. The bottle is made of a sturdy plastic and for sure, helps with keeping the liquid content’s shelf life. I dropped it a few times at the tennis court in between games. Not a dent. LOL.
THE HYDRACOCO SPORT Taste
I can definitely distinguish the taste between the HYDRACOCO Coconut water in can, and the SPORT version. You can really tell the fortified taste with vitamins. Knowing however, that I am getting some of the nutrients I need daily to enjoy my game, it is way better than leading sports hydration drinks. To me, the HYDRACOCO SPORT version has more of a “boost” if I may explain it that way. My tennis friends who tried it, (because I gave them some to try) loved the taste as well. It is very refreshing chilled. I always carry a cooler with ice packs anyway. As usual, it is really an energizing drink. Playing with crazy tennis buddies who don’t quit playing until lights out? It is an essential.
THE HYDRACOCO COCONUT WATER BRAND
What caught my attention with this product, is it’s story. I tend to be drawn to products who have a “soul”, so to speak. This brand has a commendable story of resilience, and a rising up, from what could be considered a tragedy. It has the component of friendship that withstood challenges and continued to thrive despite the odds.
Out of curiosity, I happened to communicate with one of the owners of HYDRACOCO. Now, for a company’s owner to be so responsive, congenial and taking time to reach out to its consumers, is admirable. I did not have an idea that I was messaging with David Montoto, the Hydracoco co-founder. His words were down to earth, and gave credit to his best friend Alex, (sorry, I do not know his last name) who is the company CEO. He related how this friend kept the Hydracoco dream alive. This was while David himself was going through grave health issues, even to the extent of requiring a kidney / pancreas transplant.
Both very active, Alex was apparently also a health buff and has been an advocate of coconut water for hydration post intensive workouts. David on the other hand, was an active, competitive tennis player. What do you know! He is also of a sport that I am crazy about! These two friends, through the challenges, pulled through and put together this company, now known to 4 countries and over 3000 stores selling their product.
Needless to say, HYDRACOCO as you may have seen on Instagram and the rest of its social media platforms, have people raving about it. I am sure we will be hearing more about the evolution of this company.
For the average person like me, however, I just appreciate that there is a product that I truly like. A hydrating drink that I know, has helped me enjoy a sport I truly love. For many, it has become a staple in their daily workouts and sports they love and engage in!
No Hassle Website Review & Journey: From a Physical Therapist with No Technical Know-How
I have wanted to migrate my Blogger Blog posts to a WordPress site. Having no knowledge of how to get started, I found out on Fiverr, my go-to gig site, that WordPress websites can cost a lot. By the hundreds in fact. Then, I came across an ad for the NO Hassle website for &99. I thought it was a fluke. Here’s what I saw:
“The ONLY ready-made website that already has EVERYTHING an entrepreneur like yourself needs: a beautiful, professional, flawless, fully customizable, sales-driven, service-based site, with built-in pages, opt-ins, shop, landing page, thank-you page, SEO and even Facebook tracking pixels!” Just plug in your info & images and you are done. REALLY. The perfect COMBINATION of a DIY & a Designer Website.
I just had to give it a try as I desperately needed a WordPress website, which I learned has more functionality. If indeed, this offer can get you a pre-made website with the most common components one can want, I want in.
NO HASSLE WEBSITE VS FREELANCE DEVELOPERS
Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against freelancers. They can do a great job. For me, it is just very costly. Fiverr has freelancers who could do this for a fee. Starting from a few pages to a complex multipage site with E-commerce capabilities, plug-ins, and more. The price, however, goes up as more features are added.
The downfall for this, however, is that once it is completed, you are left to maintain your website. If you are a beginning blogger like me, even posting articles on a website will prove to be a very daunting task. At least, it is for me. Maintaining the website and customizing is another thing. That takes patience (which I admit I don’t have much of, with techie stuff!). Being a busy physical therapist in an orthopedic office and managing the rehab department takes up most of my time.
WHY I REALLY WANT TO LEARN ABOUT PUTTING UP A WEBSITE
My thought process was, what if, I wanted to include videos, images, change the looks, the layout, and design, I would have to hire another freelancer or developer to do that for me. Who has that time?
What I learned with freelancers on Fiverr when I published Ebooks on Kindle, Audiobooks on Audible with Amazon is that it does take time to complete the project. Meanwhile, I am there, twiddling my thumbs waiting on each segment (Book Cover design, formatting, etc.) to be completed.
This time, I wanted to LEARN more about how to navigate WordPress. This way, I can go through my blogging journey actually learning how to manage my website. No Hassle website was my first attempt.
It took only 3 days for my order to be completed. True enough, it was only $99. And… wow, it indeed came with the pages I needed for what I wanted. An ABOUT page, Home, Services, BLOG, Contact Page, and even a scheduling page loaded with Calendly. Honestly, I am still trying to work on that scheduling page. I may have use for that later on.
A really great added bonus I think, is its Woocommerce functionality. How cool is that! It is even pre-loaded with three sample products that one can start building on. I intend to sell products at some point on this website and just knowing I can get started on it with the samples provided, is a great help!
DIVI THEME
The NoHassle website deal is hosted on DIVI, which I am proud to say, I am quite learning more to navigate. Neta, from the No Hassle website, has been a great help. It came with instructions on pretty much EVERYTHING you need to know how to set this up. There was no way I could have even have started without those instructional videos.
I had the videos open on one tab, and working on my website on the other tab. I felt like a kindergarten pupil working on the website referring to the video instructions. Playing the instructions, pausing it, doing it on the site, and then watching the video again. But, it all came together.
I’m not gonna lie, it was not all fine and dandy. There were times I had to pause and take deep breaths. Screaming on my pillow as I get frustrated happened a few times. After all, I have an excuse. Haha! I heal and fix broken bodies with little to no tech skills whatsoever!
PAST EXPERIENCE WITH A WIX WEBSITE
I have tried putting up a blog site in the past with a Wix site. It was drag and drop. The website for some reason soon slowed and became more difficult to manage. I had nowhere to turn to for tech support. When clinical projects took precedence over my blogging adventures, I just gave it up. One regret I had was, I never bothered to save all the blogs on that website which I should have. Articles on that blog site were all originals.
Going back to my No Hassle website journey, indeed, my website is up and running, yay! My blogs on Blogger by Google are finally migrated into the NoHassle WordPress website. It is not perfect, but I learned how to upload my blog posts, add images and even embed Youtube videos! For me, that was an accomplishment in itself. It did take time for me how to work that on that module.
NO HASSLE WEBSITE’S DIVI THEME
What I found with the DIVI theme is that you have to get familiar with the different blocks and what they do. Differentiating sections, rows, and modules took time for me. Saving what I did, was one thing I learned the hard way. After completing all I needed to load in a page, I forget to SAVE it. Which was really supposedly a no-brainer after you complete a project. But, there it was, it happened many times.
After a while, you get the hang of it, however. Proud to say, I learned how to customize fonts, size, borders, shades, adding links, formatting, and more. A great accomplishment for someone like me who doesn’t know anything about putting websites together.
A WORK IN PROGRESS
My website is still a work in progress. Just learning how to do the basics and knowing that I can edit and revise things and content anytime I want without having to pay an arm and a leg is very fulfilling. In the past, I have paid hundreds, even thousands total just to have an up and running website. One bad experience I had was a website being held hostage by the developer demanding more pay for additional features and revisions I needed. That was not a pleasant experience.
To summarize my experience with the NOHassle website: It is a lifesaver for one like me who does not want to spend much to get started with a website.

INSTRUCTIONS – This was the most welcome help I have ever gotten. The videos of Neta (founder of the NoHassle Website) teaching you how to get started from start to finish, were very well thought of! I really think she made it so easy, that I actually felt like I can do it!
THE LOOK – I chose the Orange and Blue Theme and am very happy with it. It looked clean, simple. I was able to change border shading, backgrounds, font sizes, and types, easily.
SUPPORT / COMMUNICATION– Now this one is I could really say Neta is the best! She has responded to my queries in video format. It comes across as very personal, and very helpful Just today, I submitted a support ticket around 8:32 AM, and by 9:34 AM, I had a response from her in my inbox! Now, that is SUPPORT indeed.

Just to make it clear, Neta, founder of the No-Hassle website offer does not have an affiliate program. I did ask her about it, as I was just a believer in her offer. I was impressed by the fact that she is down to earth and wants to stay organic about wanting her product to be known for what it is. And the price is just unbelievable. $99. Nothing can beat that for what you get.

I understand that the hardest thing in a blogging journey is just taking that first step. I am still on that journey. As you can see, I haven’t even monetized my site yet. This is still a journey. But as scary as it was, I took the first step. YOU CAN DO THIS too!
We recently purchased this device on Amazon to use for patients we see. There has been quite an influx of patients with neck pain and headaches. This has subsequent complications including muscle spasms or cramping, and headaches. I am always on the lookout for treatment alternatives, practical remedies for pain management.
So here it is. The product name was Cosy Life. There are many brands available but this one was on a limited-time deal. So, I gave it a try.
PACKAGING:
It came well packaged. Inside included a User Manual, which was great. Many consumers require descriptive instructions on how to use it safely. The product was encased in a nice, velvety pouch, with their brand name on it.
THE DEVICE:
The device itself was, of course, deflated. The inflation valve is similar to that of a blood pressure monitor. You close it to inflate and loosen it up to deflate and let the air out.
MATERIAL:
Checking out the material of this device, it is indeed a big improvement from earlier models. With the prior versions, you can feel the vinyl cover with sometimes rough edges that scratch your chin. (Indeed yes, I have tried the earlier models before years ago.)
One will readily notice the velvety feel of the material. Even Jessica, my model, noticed this right away.
The straps were long enough to fit a medium size head, like Jessica’s. The Velcro was well sewn, and the top strap had the name-brand patch on it. Very proprietary.
The inflation valve was easy to use. It did not take long before the user can feel the support and bracing action on the neck.
Overall, this was worth the price, and the overall quality was very satisfactory. As you can see in the video, Jessica, a first-time user with chronic neck pain, headaches & spasms was pleased.
She is my unofficial patient from time to time. If it’s not her foot, it’s her neck I have to work on. This is from working at a desk and working the desktop all day.
CONS:
I did try to use this specific model on a patient with a smaller and shorter neck. As the straps were quite long, the first layer of the device came up all the way to her cheekbones. There was not enough length of the velcro itself to tighten the device.
I would say that this model works best with medium – to large-sized individuals. It is still a great product I would say.

HOW TO USE THE INFLATABLE NECK TRACTION DEVICE:
1.Always start slow, gradually increasing tension in 1-minute increments.Inflate to about 25% tension, just enough to feel a lift on your head and jaw. Stop, and leave on for 1 minute.
2. Deflate to halfway down, about 50% tension. Do not deflate all the way. This gives your neck muscles time to adjust to the stretch.
3. After about a minute rest, inflate it again. This time, way past the initial tension you reached. Hold and keep it there, then close the valve. Hold this at this increased tension for another minute. Thereafter, deflate it down to 50% less tension. You should still feel a comfortable stretch.
Repeat the same procedure by inflating the device again. This time, increase tension to the maximum tension you can tolerate. The stretch should be comfortable and not blocking your carotid. (LOL).
You will notice that despite the stretch, you can still speak and breathe comfortably. You can then hold this at this level for 1 – 5 minutes. Deflate to about 25% less tension, let it rest there for about a minute or two. Then inflate it again to that same level. Repeat 4 – 5 times.
I use this protocol with patients and it is well tolerated. Indeed, it is a very useful and helpful device for easing neck pain, stiffness, and muscle spasms.
Personally, I have used this device for my headaches. Once muscles are relaxed, it decreases tension on your intervertebral discs. This also allows better circulation and improved oxygen supply to the head.
Using this device, along with strategic neck exercises and techniques can be very beneficial for neck pain relief.

My experience with using Biofreeze as a physical therapist in my practice spans decades. It has been a very helpful tool in my practice. When I was first introduced to the product years ago, this green gooey gel quite lived up to its name: “Freeze”.
Being so excited about trying the product, I used my bare hands during manual therapy treatments to patients at my outpatient clinic years ago. After my third patient and using Biofreeze with my bare hands, I started dropping things. My therapists teased me, “butterfingers”. Indeed, it was hard to feel my hands as they felt frozen! So I knew this thing works indeed!
To make a long story short. I have been using Biofreeze since then. I have seen it work for patients with swollen joints from the inflammation due to arthritis conditions. As Biofreeze indicates on its labels, it is intended for arthritis, sore muscles, and joints.
Almost everyone who comes to the clinic suffers from one or all of those conditions. It is also great for managing edema, swelling, pain, as it has the ability to cool off the skin surface once applied on a warm, inflamed area. Considered a cryotherapy gel, its cooling effect is exceptional.
The reason why Biofreeze works is the Pain Gate Theory:
Pain happens when your receptors send a signal from your spine to your brain. Cold sensations, like menthol, stimulate receptors to block those signals to relieve pain.
Applying Biofreeze to the skin does relieve pain because of this mechanism of the pain gate. Swollen joints from arthritis are usually warm, stiff. I have seen and observed how Biofreeze decreases that temperature in a matter of seconds, usually in as little as 10 seconds. Incredible right?
This is so true with our patients who just had knee surgeries, either an arthroscopic procedure or a knee replacement. These patients usually come in with significant stiffness, pain swelling, as not all of them are diligent with using cold packs at home for symptom control, as instructed.
Before I even start their therapy session, I apply Biofreeze and massage the swollen joint gently: just around the surgical site and even the whole limb if the swelling reaches the ankles. I do this around the dressing of course, not over it.
Applied in an up and down or gentle circular motion, this also allows the better lymphatic flow to the area, allowing trapped water within the skin to get redirected to circulate better along the leg.
I do use nitrile gloves as again, I don’t like my fingers freezing with use. We do see as many as 12 patients or more a day. That’s a lot of Biofreeze applications with bare hands that’s more than enough to freeze any finger. 😁
I find that compliance with therapy improves significantly when pain relief is addressed prior to doing therapeutic exercises during the therapy session. It may also be, that combined with a therapist’s magical hands, the pain relief achieved with Biofreeze is even magnified.👌💁
BIOFREEZE FOR HEADACHES AND NECK PAIN
In my experience, using Biofreeze for headaches also works. Applied to the back of the neck, the base of the skull (occipital region) with manual therapy techniques, it helps calm down headaches, muscle spasms, and neck stiffness.
Just a simple massage to the painful and sore areas, simple pressure on the base of the skull, sides of the head with the fingers, and moving the muscles of the neck and upper trapezius muscles can help eliminate muscle tightness and spasms.
I have used Biofreeze in many more conditions and ailments. I may discuss those at another time. Biofreeze has now many variations of product packaging. It is available in the original gel form, which can be original or colorless.
It is also available as a roll-on and a spray, to suit people’s preferences. They have come up lately with the professional-grade Biofreeze which I felt really seems to have longer-lasting effects.
Biofreeze is indeed a big name for medical and health professionals alike. It is a product that did have longevity due to its effectiveness and the ongoing research to come up with more products. Biofreeze is easily available from sellers and distributors. Amazon does carry Biofreeze products.
As for me, I just know it’s one of the many tools of the trade a physical therapist like me can have. I am all for making patient’s day-to-day life better!
The coconut water craze has hit America. But there are truly benefits to this popular tropical plant commonly found in the tropics including Southeast Asia, which is the most common source of coconut water found in grocery and health food store shelves currently.
There is much available literature about coconut water. I encourage you to read further about it.
As there are not many real coconuts to harvest pure coconut water locally, I have to look for that source somewhere else.
GREAT SPORTS HYDRATION
Although it is an acquired taste for some people, not everyone has developed a liking to its taste, however. I personally gravitated to coconut water replacing the more common sports drink that I was used to when playing tennis.
It is my personal experience that using coconut water to hydrate during recreational tennis games, allowed me to last longer and enjoy the sport better. I am by no means a pro tennis player but do enjoy the game as a preferred exercise routine and recreation. I and some colleagues play tennis 2 – times a week, for about 3 – 4 hours at a time. This is after an 8 – 9 hour workday, mind you.
I daresay that coconut water seems to extend my tolerance to all the running and hitting, without getting too sore the next day. It makes getting up early for work the next day easier! I have tried several brands and I do like to share my personal experience with these different brands.
HYDRACOCO BRAND COCONUT WATER
#Hydra Coco caught my attention recently. I browsed through the listing for coconut water on Amazon. (What can I say, I love Amazon!) I am always on the lookout for different brands. I do mind the price and quantity and the convenience of taking it with me to the tennis courts.
This was my first taste of #Hydra Coco coconut water.
Upon reading the labels, it showed 18 grams of sugars and no added sugar. Hmmm. 80 Calories total. Potassium was listed at 376 mg, and even Vitamin C at 18 mg, among others.
What I look for however is products that are NOT FROM CONCENTRATE, and are natural coconut water. Hydra coco definitely met this requirement for me.
The #Hydra Coco package boasts of this product being cholesterol-free, fat-free, Non- GMO, Gluten-free, and containing 5 essential electrolytes. Sounds good to me. WebMD indicated that coconut water can be equivalent to about 4 bananas. I guess I prefer that to munch on 4 bananas just to get through a tennis game. No brainer!
The Packaging: I would say #Hydra Coco’s packaging is very neat. It handled shipping well, at 11.1 fl oz. per can, there are 12 in each box. The design is attractive as well. Very sporty and trendy. Designed very well for sure. Pleasing to the eye.
I took the first gulp and I noticed that indeed, it does not taste sugary; Kind of mild and more natural tasting. Having tasted what fresh from the tree coconut water tastes like, I’d say, this tastes very close to the real deal. It did not have an aftertaste. It did taste better chilled.
It is indeed hydrating and made a big difference when playing tennis. I can handle 3 – 4 hours playing easy. I can usually finish 2 cans of the Hydra Coco coconut water and 2 bottles of water to balance it out. I have experienced no cramps during the game, which usually plague me with regular sports drinks. No soreness the day after either. I’m a fan of coconut water.
